Junior Microsoft Azure Engineer
Who are we?
Formed in 2003, ITS Digital is a leading IT support company based in Hertford. As the #1 support provider for NHS GP-IT support in NHS Eastern region, we’re looking for individuals who are passionate about IT to join our team. Our primary customer base is within the NHS however we also cater to local businesses and home users. We focus on end-user support, offering the best and most efficient service we can. We have a close working team of engineers and support staff who pride themselves on the customer relationships we create. We foster a friendly and positive company culture, supporting employees whenever possible.
Why are we recruiting?
Due to in-house promotions and expansion into new support areas, we are looking for keen and committed individuals to join our friendly IT support team.
Are you suitable?
A successful applicant will be able to demonstrate care and attention to detail whilst being polite and helpful with any support requests. We consider this an entry level role and as such little experience is needed, instead, we prioritise enthusiasm and a personal interest in IT to identify good candidates. Experience in similar roles is however a plus and will be considered for the higher end of the salary range.
What’s involved?
This position will be based in Hertford at our main office in the Foxholes Business Park. This is a great role that covers initial stages of technical support. In this role, you will be answering calls made to the helpdesk, replying to technical emails from customers, progressing tickets from our online support portal plus helping with other ‘IT duties’ such as imaging, backing-up data, dispatching hardware for field engineering and later progress to occasional customer site visits. This role, unlike many helpdesk roles advertised, includes a variety of tasks and not just answering phones, allowing you to broaden your IT experience and skillset.
Training and environment
Training is provided to help fast track the chosen applicant to succeed. Initially you will learn from others on the helpdesk, following their day-to-day activities. Moving on from there you will be chaperoned on all duties and expectations until there is a mutual agreement that you can progress to processing support queries independently. Help will always be nearby, and we strongly believe in encouraging all staff to see through difficult solutions, with third line assistance if necessary.
Experienced applicants may have additional knowledge in the following:
· Computer support via telephone & email
· General IT Remote support
· A practicing knowledge of Windows 8 & 10
· Experience of supporting Office products
